A gathering of secondees and alumni

Managing Partner Richard Spurio and COO Matt Graham recently spent some time in London catching up with Linklaters' colleagues and connecting with clients and other key contacts.

They also took the opportunity to meet with a number of Allens people now working at Linklaters, including both alumni and current Allens staff secondeed to the firm (at present there are around 30 secondees with Linklaters in London, as well at Links' offices in Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo).

Richard said: 'It was wonderful catching up with our people in London, hearing about the opportunities they are getting and how they are enjoying the different experience. And to hear about the things they miss from Allens, of course!'

Disputes and Investigations Senior Associate Geneva Sekula is working on secondment in Linklaters' Litigation, Arbitration & Investigations team and said her secondment has so far been a 'real adventure'.

'It’s been a terrific experience to see how the alliance works firsthand, and it’s made all the more fun by being able to share it with old and new friends from Allens. We were delighted to catch up with Richard and Matt during their trip to London – getting the Allens team at Links together to connect with colleagues is always a reminder of the incredible culture we’re lucky to have at Allens'.
