No opinion polls or backroom deals. Just pure democracy in action.
That is the calling card of the People's Choice Award at this year's Sculpture by the Sea, Bondi, which is taking place from 22 October to 8 November, along the Bondi to Tamarama coastal walk in Sydney.
Allens is once again sponsoring the People's Choice Award, which allows viewers of the works to vote for their favourite sculpture. Last year, more than half a million people visited the exhibition and lodged more than 4000 votes for the People's Choice Prize.
The winner of the People's Choice Prize receives $5000, which is presented by an Allens partner at a special ceremony at the end of the exhibition. Last year's winner was Michael Greve for his stunning work breaching.
This year marks the 15th consecutive year Allens has sponsored the People's Choice Award.
