Wesfarmers is a major player in consumer goods with extensive retail, manufacturing, and services offerings. With 195 subsidiaries, its workforce includes frontline retail, chemists, engineers, miners, health services providers, and back office functions such as accounting, Information Technology and Human Resources.
Wesfarmers required support to ensure its large, geographically-dispersed workforce received regular, relevant and accessible training across regulatory risk and compliance, particularly in the rapidly evolving areas of law around consumer protections and privacy.
Solution
Allens tailored 12 e-modules from three of our content suites: Anti-Bribery and Corruption, Competition and Consumer Law, and Data Breach and Privacy. The modules assisted Wesfarmers in managing its compliance obligations and included:
