Allens has advised leading international private equity investor CapVest on the proposed acquisition of ASX-listed Ansarada Group via CapVest-held portfolio company, Datasite.
Datasite has entered into a scheme implementation deed for the acquisition of 100% of Ansarada Group for $2.50 cash per share by way of a scheme of arrangement, implying an equity value of $236.3 million.

Allens PE experts worked closely with technology, media and telecommunications lawyers to advise on all aspects of the transaction including strategic approach, structuring, due diligence and transaction documents. The Allens team also worked closely with CapVest and Datasite's international counsel, Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP.
The deal is subject to approval from shareholders and the relevant regulators and is expected to close mid-2024.
