Allens has advised Brambles Limited on the sale of its CHEP India business, which represents its exit from the Indian market.
The sale sees Brambles divest its CHEP India business to LEAP India Private Limited, a leading Indian returnable packaging services provider, with completion expected by the first quarter of 2025.
CHEP manages the world's largest pool of reusable pallets and containers and promotes their share and reuse.
'We are pleased to have advised Brambles on the sale of CHEP India, which has become an established player in the Indian market under its custodianship,' said lead Partner Vijay Cugati.
'The sale speaks to Brambles' disciplined approach to capital allocation and business strategy.'
Allens advised Brambles on all aspects of the transaction together with Indian counsel, JSA Advocates & Solicitors.
