About Andrew Boxall
Andrew was a partner of the firm from 1986 to 2016. He specialises in banking and finance transactions, particularly for infrastructure development projects, property financing, asset financing and insolvency and restructuring.
He has acted on a wide range of property financings, including construction facilities (such as the iconic Aurora Place and 111 Eagle Street office developments) and acquisition facilities (most notably, the $4.185 billion facility to fund the acquisition of Investa Property Group), and a wide range of secured and unsecured facilities for listed and unlisted property trusts.
In the infrastructure field, Andrew has acted for borrowers and lenders on a wide range of project financings, including natural gas pipelines, oilfields, coal mines, hard rock mining projects, toll roads, electricity generation and transmission assets, port facilities and manufacturing plants.
He has acted in numerous prominent insolvencies, including Cross City Tunnel, Lift Capital, Allco Finance Group, Record Realty and Great Southern, representing insolvency administrators, various types of creditors or the insolvent company itself. He has advised a wide range of lenders and companies concerning solvency and restructuring issues.
Andrew spent seven years as the firm's Singapore resident partner. His Asian experience includes a wide range of joint venture, merger and acquisition, infrastructure and financing transactions, in Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam.
