About Darcy Doyle
Darcy is a First Nations and environmental law specialist. He assists clients with native title, cultural heritage and environmental regulatory compliance, and provides ESG support in relation to First Nations rights and environmental considerations. Darcy's experience includes advising on:
- agreement negotiations between project developers and First Nations groups;
- native title and cultural heritage requirements for project development;
- the development and implementation of policy positions regarding engagement with Indigenous peoples – including implications of the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples, and the standard of ‘free, prior and informed consent’;
- environmental impact assessment processes and approvals at state and federal levels for project development in Western Australia;
- management of environmental incidents and contaminated land in Western Australia;
