About Joshua Hoare
Josh is a Partner in Allens' Corporate / M&A team. He advises private equity houses and other financial sponsors on their most significant transactions, including all forms of M&A, consortium deals, exits and portfolio company arrangements.
Josh previously worked in the private equity team at our alliance partner Linklaters in London.
Josh’s recent experience includes advising:
- KKR – on its investment in Australian Venue Co, including the joint venture with Coles Group and exit to PAG.
- Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners– on its proposed acquisition of a 49% interest in the Onslow Iron haul road, partnering with MinRes.
- Blackstone – on its A$1.6 billion sale of La Trobe Financial to Brookfield.
- BGH Capital – on its successful contested take private of Virtus Health.
- KKR – on its proposed A$20 billion take private of Ramsay Health Care.
- Pacific Equity Partners – on its sale of WINconnect to Origin, as part of a related investment in Intellihub by Brookfield.
- IFM Investors – on its acquisition of PRP Diagnostic Imaging.
- Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners – on its acquisition of and subsequent A$3.3 billion exit from PEXA via IPO.
- Cerberus Capital Management – on its acquisition of Westpac's auto finance business.
- KKR – on its investment in Arnott's, including the A$3.4 billion acquisition from Campbell Soup Company and numerous bolt ons.
- BGH Capital – on its proposed A$6 billion take private of Healthscope.
- Brookfield and Oaktree – on their joint venture arrangements post Brookfield’s US$4.8 billion acquisition of a majority ownership stake in Oaktree.
- Carlyle – on its £1.8 billion exit of PA Consulting, a global innovation and transformation consultancy.
- Carlyle – on its investment in EnerMech Group, a global energy and infrastructure asset services provider.
