About Christina Linforth-Barker
Christina has more than 20 years of experience as a Registered Trade Mark Attorney. She has worked with numerous high profile Australian and international clients across a range of industries including in the fields of food and beverages, fashion, automotive parts, homewares, education, sports, media, entertainment, construction, real estate, insurance, health, technology and communications.
Christina advises clients on strategies for brand development and protection, conducts trade mark availability searches and manages the filing and prosecution of trade mark applications in Australia and a large number of other jurisdictions worldwide. She also advises on the maintenance and enforcement of trade mark registrations and issues in relation to infringement, misleading and deceptive conduct and passing off.
She has been heavily involved with numerous trade mark opposition and non-use proceedings, including advising on strategies and assisting with settlement negotiations and the drafting of coexistence agreements.
Christina has handles the international trade mark portfolios for CUB Pty Ltd and the RUSTY surfwear brand, as well as other significant Australian companies.
