About David Donnelly
David is an infrastructure projects specialist, with a strong background in project finance. He has experience advising all participants (sponsors and investors, lenders, governments and contractors) on major projects, and has a deep understanding of their respective drivers and perspectives.
David’s experience includes:
- North East Link – advising the Capella consortium (Capella, Salini Impregilo, GS Engineering & Construction) on its bid for the North East Link PPP.
- Melbourne Metro – advised the financiers to the Cross Yarra Partnership on the successful close of the Metro Tunnel Package and related packages of the $11 billion Melbourne Metro Project.
- Plenary-led Consortium/Sydney Convention Centre – advising the Plenary-led consortium on its bid for the Sydney International Convention Exhibition and Entertainment Precinct.
- John Holland Group/New Calvary Adelaide Hospital – advising John Holland as contractor and equity investor on the development of the New Calvary Adelaide Hospital.
- Goldman Sachs/Blue Sky Private Real Estate – advising Goldman Sachs in relation to the design and construct aspects of a new $1.5 billion student accommodation joint venture with Blue Sky Private Real Estate.
- CBA/Aloft Sydney – advising Commonwealth Bank of Australia on the financing of the development of 'Aloft Sydney' in Pitt Street.
- Plenary Living Consortium/Project Single LEAP Phase 2 – advising the successful Plenary Living Consortium on all aspects of its bid for Phase 2 of the Commonwealth Department of Defence's PPP for the delivery of defence force accommodation throughout Australia.
- Brunswick Group – advising on the Hawke & King mixed use development in West Melbourne.
- Mirvac – maintenance and access requirements for its development at 664 Collins Street.
- CBA/Launch Development – advising the Commonwealth Bank of Australia on the financing of the 'Botanical Brighton' a 59 Apartment Residential development in Brighton, Melbourne.
