Lisa Zhou
Lisa is a new partner in our Banking and Finance team, specialising in project finance with an emphasis on infrastructure and renewable energy projects, real estate finance and corporate finance.
I was initially drawn to the law because I loved the precision and rigour. But at the same time, I also love that the law is not precise at all, in the sense that there are always a number of different perspectives and solutions in any situation.
With the significant evolution that's occurred in recent years within renewable energy and infrastructure project finance, seeing things from different perspectives and providing innovative solutions has become essential. I'm excited to be part of a once-in-a-generation energy transition, as well as the increasing focus on ESG trends and acceleration of infrastructure investment. Against this backdrop, I really look forward to continuing to collaborate with our specialist teams and clients to navigate and solve for unique structuring and other issues on transactions.
As a partner, I'm also keen to work alongside the other banking and finance partners to nurture and develop our talent. Helping others grow and playing a part in contributing to our lawyers' progression through the firm has been, and I know will continue to be, one of the most rewarding parts of my role.
