- Environment & Planning
- Native Title
Developing environment and planning strategies that go beyond just securing the relevant approvals is critical for organisations looking to grow, while upholding their social license to operate.
Environment and planning law is based on a complex array of laws and policies, so your legal advice needs to be both comprehensive and clear.
How we can help
As the range of regulations continues to expand, we can provide proven strategies for addressing issues arising from environmental liability and pollution law
We have a track record of success in defending environmental prosecution, as well as conducting civil litigation based upon environment, health and safety claims. Moreover, we have developed management systems to assist our clients to reduce their environmental and occupational health and safety risks.
We have experience at all stages of the development process
From the design of systems to comply with environment impact assessment requirements in dealings with consent authorities, to managing community consultation and specialist areas such as native title, heritage and endangered species requirements.
Environmental risk is now a major factor in corporate transactions and privatisations
Our team provides strong commercial skills coupled with a detailed understanding of both the complex regulations and an ability to develop innovative solutions.
